I traveled to Oaxaca in March 2022 and became heavily inspired by the history of the exhilarating Zapotec culture. Their thoughts and beliefs, forever engraved on the walls of their temples and ceremonial centers, are capable of transporting you the deepest reaches of history in an instant. Every where I turned, I sank further into the wealth of wisdom. With so much magic arresting me, I painted this sculptor's dreams flying away with him, assuring to soar years into the future to inspire more generations.
