Sylky is aN INDIGENOUS queer femMe who USES ROPE PLAY AS A TOOL TO PROCESS LIFE.
Sylky’s deep connection with rope allows for a profound journey inwards, creating a strong sense of empowerment and self discovery. I spent two days immersed in Sylky’s rope ritual as Calba, the rope top, provided the strength and energy for Sylky to suspend all the worries of the world. With each knot and tie, the two were like dancers and best friends, intimate allies complimenting each other as their practice led them to a blissful release, even if physically binding, culminating in an ecstasy of the mind, body and soul.
