The main purpose and idea behind Invitation was to experiment with cinematic storytelling through long camera shots; playing with camera motion, composition, style, editing + sound design while keeping a simple story that could simultaneously work in different directions each episode and maintain similar themes. Episodes capture brief moments of abduction from new perspectives.

The unstable mental state character is always the camera - the audience - subjectively pitting the viewer in experiencing various emotions.
The animal-masked characters are "strangers".
The premise is also suitable for further experimentation, challenges + new collaborators without ever really coming to an end.

This was an ideal setting for exploration.

A take on the succubus legend - a female demon takes on a misleading appearance in order to lure her prey.

Invitation v received the Daily Deviation award from deviantArt.com, an online community showcasing various forms of user-made artwork. 
Under the span of 24 hours, it had received over 4000 views and over 200 favourites.

Probably the most experimental of the bunch. This marks the introduction of other "strangers" - the giraffe and the elephant.
